A similar move just happened at Noom - obviously the powers that be knew what was coming down the pipeline, but middle management and the coaching organization were just blindsided by the recent mass lay-offs. I have learned it is not uncommon to be strung along and out right lied to MINUTES before they fire you. It's nuts.
